The ethos of Ananda Yoga Retreats is to provide a safe place for students around the world to take time out in a relaxed environment without a need to please anyone else other than themselves. An escape that is purely based around the individual's needs with no strict rules or expectations in place. Total freedom, whilst being nurtured by soul cleansing food, and most importantly exceptional yoga in a purely breathtaking locations.

Meet Ananda
Madeline Diaz Meiners, known spiritually as Ananda and the founder of Ananda Yoga Retreats Ibiza, brings 12 years of diverse yoga teaching experience, alongside many years of travel, allowing her to connect with individuals from various backgrounds. With extensive training in Satyananda Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Kundalini, Yin, and Gong Sound healing, along with her personal journey through challenges and transformations, her mission is to help others discover inner peace and strength.
Her professional history includes high-level customer service in the hospitality sector, and she owns multiple yoga studios in the UK, all whileholding the ethics and spirituality of the practice.
Madeline has dedicated years establishing yoga teacher training schools, mentoring numerous yogis as they transition from students to teachers. Her commitment to sharing her love for yoga, along with her enthusiasm for business travel, and adventure, has led to the creation of Ananda Yoga Retreats through years of hard work and client dedication.
"With a desire to live a limitless life and after years of travel, including time spent in Ibiza and Argentina, I returned to my spiritual home of Ibiza in 2017 to launch Ananda Yoga Retreats. Following many successful seasons in Ibiza and some significant universal challenges, I felt compelled to reconnect with my roots and family, giving rise to the wonderful opportunity for Ananda Yoga Retreats in The Lake District.Guided by the Universe's flow, we now proudly operate two extraordinary venues in Coniston and Ibiza, which I am honored to call the permanent homes of Ananda Yoga Retreats."
