The Foundation Certificate in Sound Healing is a practitioner level training course that will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to host safe and professional Sound Healing Sessions. You will study 6 of the core Sound Healing Instruments in depth: Gongs, Himalayan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls, Drums, Voice and Percussion. Plus gain an overview of many other sound healing instruments. You will learn techniques based on research around using Therapeutic Sound as a Complementary Healthcare Practice.

The course requires 100 hours of study and training. 60 hours will be face to face workshop sessions at Ananda Yoga Retreats in Coniston. You will spend the remaining 40 hours developing your personal practice, which is made up by a combination of guided self treatments, personal reflection and home study sessions. There is also the option to continue your development with 30 hours of Case Studies. Case studies are a wonderful way to gain valuable experience of working with clients and a good means of transitioning between study and professional practice.

When Therapeutic Sound is applied properly it can have deep and profound effects, and be powerful aid to personal transformation. There are so many untapped opportunities for working with sound as a holistic and complementary therapy. It is an exiting time to get involved.

Note: Home Studies are required following the Residential Week. It generally takes between 4 and 8 months to complete the training course depending on the time you have available for your home studies.
